Denise et Christian are happy to welcome you to their site and to discover their restaurant "the Crecholien" along with their village Saint-Père sous Vézelay and it's surroundings.

Our restaurant created in 1990 was once a cowshed owned by christian's ancestors in the XVIII century.We are happy to serve you in it's charming and rustic atmosphere. Of course, our terrace is very inviting on beautiful days.

In a warm and authentic environment blending wood and stone, you can discover our regional dishes. Our local cuisine is like that of our grand-mothers, where during this era we could find from daybreak simmering on the stove, the beef Burgandy stew already marinated since yesterday, the ham Chablisien, the potée Morvandelle and of course the delicious Burgandy snails.
